The Shoals Earth Day Festival will have numerous eco-friendly displays, live music, children's activities, local city government departments, vendors including artists, artisans and crafts persons and much more! During the day a tour and talk at the Helen Keller Library will showcase the library's new solar panels and system. Entertainment for the entire family will be provided. Local non-profits will be lined up to sell their " junk and treasures" at the "Reduce, Reuse, Recycle Rummage Sale" which is now a popular component of the Shoals Earth Day Fest.

City-wide Clean Up Event
May 11, 2013
Organizations, scouts, businesses, or individuals are needed to help pick up littered streets at the Annual Citywide Clean-up Day. Volunteers will be supplied with vests, bags, gloves, breakfast, and lunch. Groups can call ahead (256-760-6494) for a designated area or meet us at the Florence-Lauderdale Coliseum on Saturday morning.
